Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Mvungi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 50 Cent - In Da Club. Mvungi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Professor Jay ft. Ferooz - Nikusaidiaje?. Jonathan Mvungi has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bruce Gracie's chin.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie fails with the takedown.
Nice cross by Mvungi.
Nice uppercut there from Mvungi.
Mvungi stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Mvungi's corner calls for a 1-2. Mvungi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Mvungi scores with a one two! Gracie had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gracie takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Mvungi lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Gracie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mvungi is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard.
Mvungi wanted to stand there but Gracie had control of the position.

Mvungi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mvungi throws a strike but Gracie rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Mvungi wants to get back to his feet but Gracie is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Mvungi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mvungi manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Mvungi's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mvungi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mvungi lands with a big left! Gracie is wobbled badly! Mvungi comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Gracie to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Jonathan Mvungi really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Just Fight (Everything 7$) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
