Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Niga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matt Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roy Niga!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Niga looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Black drives through with a takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Black sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Niga's guard.
Black is controlling the pace.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Niga has eaten all the pies!

Black postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Niga to stand up.

Niga gets caught flat footed, as Black shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Black is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Black sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Niga's guard.

Black decides to stand and escape the position.

Black throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Niga tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Black is in Niga's guard.
Black slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Matt Black just wasn't active enough.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Niga enables Black to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Niga manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Black controlling from the top position.
Niga really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Black. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Black has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Matt Black has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Black drives through with a takedown into guard.

Black drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Black as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Niga screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Black! Nice submission victory there!
