The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Piechnicki clinches.
Perry tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Piechnicki smiles and moves away.

Piechnicki instigates a clinch.
Piechnicki scores with a knee to the head.

It looks like Jonny Perry has been cut.
Piechnicki working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Piechnicki is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.
Piechnicki content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Perry is trying to break free.
Piechnicki looking to throw knees to the head but Perry is blocking nicely.
Perry has Piechnicki pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Piechnicki manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Perry pulls guard successfully.

Piechnicki wants to stand but Perry is controlling his posture from full guard.
Piechnicki knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Perry on the ground.

Perry has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Piechnicki doesn't defend quickly enough and Perry has managed to lock this one up! Can Piechnicki escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Perry on a fantastic submission victory.
