The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karneres throws a right hand that Williams ducks under and follows up with a left that Williams also avoids with ease.
Karneres throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Williams holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Karneres blocks an uppercut.
Williams swings wildly with an uppercut but Karneres uses good head movement to avoid it.

Karneres pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Williams looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Karneres throws a lazy uppercut

and Williams counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Karneres's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Karneres throws a shot from downtown. Williams moves away and avoids it.
Karneres looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Karneres throws the left hand but Williams avoids the punch easily.

Karneres connects with a right hand. Williams shakes it off.
Julius Karneres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Karneres tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Williams paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Karneres drops Williams with a beautiful combination! Williams stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Karneres is looking for the KO!

Karneres is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Williams hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
