The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Randall tenderised Spartak's leg. Spartak is trying to keep his angry face on.
Spartak walks into a left hand.

It looks like Leonid Spartak has been cut.
Randall scores with a hook to the body. Spartak takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Randy Randall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Randall connects with a nice looking jab.

Randall lands a nice hook to Spartak's body. Spartak takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Randall drops his shoulder and cracks Spartak with a huge uppercut! Spartak goes down! Can Randall finish him?
Spartak looks winded!

Randall thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Randall is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Randall advances position into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Randall looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Randall has hold of Spartak's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Spartak tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Randall cranks the arm and Spartak screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Spartak, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
