Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Anthony Concepcion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Araune Braddocki!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Concepcion fails to land the takedown.
Braddocki lands a jab-cross combination.
Concepcion shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Braddocki connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Concepcion gets tackled into the cage by Braddocki. Braddocki maintains the clinch.
Braddocki breaks from the clinch.
Braddocki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Concepcion tries to avoid it but Braddocki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Concepcion to the ground. Concepcion escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Concepcion throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Braddocki was covering up waiting for the punch and Concepcion finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Concepcion is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Braddocki is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Braddocki has escaped and now he's on top!

Concepcion looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Braddocki is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Concepcion has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Braddocki is looking to defend but Concepcion has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Braddocki! Concepcion pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Braddocki taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Mark Anthony Concepcion!
