The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laurence tries to land a front kick but Stockton steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Laurence lands with a thumping leg kick.
Laurence tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stockton was well out of range. Poor timing from Laurence.
Stockton has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Stockton scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Clayton Laurence has been cut.
Stockton fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Oooooh!!! Stockton has knocked Laurence down with a huge combo! Stockton steps away and waves a wobbly Laurence back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Laurence looking to score a takedown here. Stockton is defending well but Laurence drives through and ends up in Stockton's guard.
Laurence throws a big right hand that misses.
Laurence wants to pass the guard but Stockton is keeping the position.
Laurence has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Stockton has his hands on Laurence's head, controlling the position.
Stockton wants to stand and escape but Laurence is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Laurence wants to control from the top but Stockton keeps moving.
Stockton wants to stand up but Laurence is controlling him.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Stockton connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Laurence tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stockton scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Laurence tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Stockton is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Stockton shuts the power down on Laurence. Lights out, game over! Stockton is your winner.
