The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danino wants to clinch up but Bronus keeps it at a distance.

Danino fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bronus, pushing him back against the cage.
Danino misses with a short punch on the inside.
Danino prevents the takedown attempt.
Bronus misses with a hook to the ribs.
A short body shot lands from Danino as the two fighters clinch.
Danino tries for a takedown but Bronus manages to get underhooks.
Danino digs a right hand into Bronus's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Bronus's gas tank.

Bronus's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Bronus got a little sloppy there for a moment and Danino has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bronus has managed to get both his arms back between Danino's legs - danger averted.

Bronus is pushing down on Danino's leg trying to pass to half guard. Danino is fighting to maintain full guard but Bronus has managed to sneak the leg through.

Bronus has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
