Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jerzy Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Starner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jerzy Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Glen Starner!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killer motions for Starner to come forward. Killer throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Starner swinging wildly here.
Killer throws a head kick but Starner moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Killer. Starner does a little dance to reset his feet.
Killer throws a quick inside leg kick.
Killer throws a sloppy head kick and Starner moves out of range easily.
Starner on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Starner stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Killer.
Killer lands a leg kick that knocks Starner off balance momentarily.
Killer throws a front kick that sends Starner stumbling back into the cage.
Starner takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Killer takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Starner scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Killer doesn't seem bothered though.
Decent striking displayed by Killer there.

Starner shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Starner was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Killer is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Killer looks like he's trying to stand up.
Killer keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Killer is refusing to be controlled, as Starner sits in half guard.
Killer won't allow Starner to pass to mount.

Starner thows a huge punch but Killer dodges it nicely.
Starner passes to side control.
Killer is trying to control Starner's posture but Starner avoids it.
Starner works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Starner misses with the ground and pound.
Killer wants to control but Starner postures up.
Killer defending against the ground and pound.
Killer is working to avoid the ground and pound but Starner connects with a decent elbow.
Killer is trying to improve his position.
Starner looking to control but instead Killer has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Killer gets full guard.
Killer keeping moving, preventing Starner from controlling successfully.
Starner trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Starner in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Starner throwing strikes from guard but Killer blocks nicely.

Starner won't allow Killer to get back to his feet.
Starner advances to half guard.
Killer has his hands clasped together around Starner's back. He's all about the action.
Starner works his foot free and advances to mount.
Killer can't escape the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Starner cracks Killer with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Starner can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Killer is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Glen Starner dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Killer throws a wild body kick that Starner sees coming a mile off.
Killer throws a low kick but it's checked well by Starner.
Starner misses with an uppercut. Killer saw that one coming.
Killer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Killer tries a head kick but it misses.
Killer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Starner wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Starner fails to land the takedown.
Starner shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Killer defends it nicely.
Killer is looking to score with low kicks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Starner shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Killer pinned against the cage. Killer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jerzy Killer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glen Starner.
Killer thuds his shin into the meat of Starner's side.
A head kick misses from Killer.
Killer throws a body kick that misses.

Starner fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Killer sprawls well initially but Starner persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Starner trying to mount his opponent but Killer defends it.
Starner stalling.

Killer is looking to improve his position.
Starner tries to pass to full mount but Killer defends it.
Glen Starner has got the better of the ground game so far.
Starner sitting and controlling from the half guard.

Starner is looking for a kimura here.

Starner wants to work for an arm triangle but Killer is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Starner is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Killer defends it well.
Killer tries to kick Starner off but Starner keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Starner missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Killer is refusing to be controlled, as Starner sits in half guard.

Starner is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Killer doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Starner.

Killer won't allow Starner to pass to mount.
Starner passes to side control.
Starner sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Killer is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Killer prevents Starner from improving position.
Starner misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Glen Starner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Killer throws out a leg kick but Starner moves out of range and Killer only half commits.
Killer lands with a kick to the temple. Starner shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Killer throws a combination that misses

and Starner counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Starner.
Killer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Killer is controlling Starner's posture.
Starner throws a strike but Killer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Killer controls from within his opponent's guard.

Starner is looking for a triangle but Killer pushes his legs off easily.

Starner is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Starner is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Killer won't allow Starner to sweep him here.

Starner is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Killer has his hands clasped together but Starner extends and breaks Killer's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Starner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Glen Starner!
