Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lester Bangs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bangs comes into the arena with Sparks blaring out of the sound system. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lester Bangs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan King!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bangs dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
King swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Bangs counters with a shoot takedown. King fights it but they end up in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Bangs passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Bangs remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
King tries to bench press Bangs off him but Bangs keeps the position.
Bangs works to advance to full mount. King defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Bangs lands a big elbow - King is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and King is forced to tap out!
