Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Roberts shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Leonard counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Roberts shoots and misses
and Leonard counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Donny Leonard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Roberts.
The referee is keeping an eye on Leonard - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Roberts is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Leonard gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Roberts is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Leonard jumps guard and drags Roberts to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Leonard has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Roberts can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Roberts chips away with some ground and pound.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Roberts not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Roberts postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Leonard covers up, he's hurt! Roberts keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Roberts and the ref steps in to end the fight! Roberts can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
