Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Teddy Craig!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor Connely!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connely throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Craig.
It looks like Teddy Craig has been cut.
Craig avoids a punch combination nicely.
Craig throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Connely's waist but Connely gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Craig off to one side.
Danga de danga de dang - Connely scores with a four punch combination!
Craig is rocked!
Connely lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Craig falls backwards - clearly groggy! Connely dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Conor Connely!
Conor Connely decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
