Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boku Kooch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adams looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Adams is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kooch is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kooch has escaped and now he's on top!
Kooch wants to control from the top but Adams keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Adams working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Kooch has passed into half guard!
Adams is looking to escape.
Kooch throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Adams tries to kick Kooch off in order to stand up. Kooch Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Adams tries to escape but Kooch is in control.
Kooch tries to advance to mount but Adams denies him.

Kooch is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Adams is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Kooch throws an elbow but Adams slips to the side and avoids it well.
Adams is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kooch's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Kooch decides to stand and escape the position.

Kooch closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kooch wants to lay and pray for a moment but Adams keeps working.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kooch is controlling the pace.

Kooch looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Adams works his way to full guard. Good work.

Kooch stands and steps away. Adams gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Adams tries to sprawl but Kooch drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Kooch wants to pass to mount but Adams is defending the position.
Adams is looking to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Adams is looking for a sweep. Kooch is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kooch trying to control the action but Adams is working from the bottom.

Kooch escapes and gets back to his feet.
Adams shoots in for a takedown but Kooch shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Kooch drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Adams is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kooch controls the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Adams is trying to get back to his feet.
Kooch misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Adams is not content to let Kooch control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boku Kooch dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kooch closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Kooch breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Adams closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kooch is looking to reverse the position.

Adams goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kooch rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Adams's guard! Nice work there by Kooch!
Kooch wants to control from the top but Adams keeps moving.
Kooch in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Kooch controls from within his opponent's guard.
Adams wants to stand up but Kooch is controlling him.
Kooch pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Adams is keeping the position for now.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kooch accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Adams is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kooch defends well.
Adams will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Kooch controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Kooch must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Adams is looking to cinch up a triangle. Kooch throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Adams's body to avoid the submission. Adams has instead reached around Kooch's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Adams arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
