The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demikovic misses with a body kick.
BigOnes throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
BigOnes jabbing away but nothing is landing.
BigOnes with a poor takedown
and Demikovic counters with a stiff right hand.
Demikovic fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging BigOnes to the ground. Demikovic is now in BigOnes's guard.
BigOnes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Demikovic sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed BigOnes's guard.

Demikovic tries to pass to full mount but BigOnes defends it.
BigOnes tries to get to full guard but Demikovic has control of the leg.
BigOnes is pressing down on Demikovic's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Demikovic seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Demikovic advances to half guard.
Demikovic has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Demikovic tries to control but BigOnes wriggling away.
BOOM! Demikovic connects with a massive shot to the dome!
It looks like Boris BigOnes has been cut.

BigOnes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Demikovic on the ground.
Demikovic is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, BigOnes has managed to escape the submission attempt.
BigOnes can't escape the position.

BigOnes is bucking up trying to escape but Demikovic cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Boris BigOnes's cut is getting worse.

Demikovic takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
BigOnes has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
A big strike lands for Demikovic! That's really hurt BigOnes and he's turned his back - Demikovic keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Demikovic jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
