Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jefferson Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khabib Nokanedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khabib Nokanedov looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nokanedov misses with a takedown

and Hoffman moves into the clinch.
Hoffman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Nokanedov just stands there and leans against the cage.

Nokanedov tightens his grip and picks Hoffman up, before dumping him to the ground. Hoffman manages to land in guard.

Hoffman has his foot on Nokanedov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nokanedov works his way back into a safe position though.

Hoffman looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hoffman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Nokanedov throws a big right hand that misses.

Nokanedov avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Nokanedov chips away with some ground and pound.

Hoffman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nokanedov is controlling him.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Nokanedov makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Hoffman keeping moving, preventing Nokanedov from controlling successfully.
Nokanedov is pushing down on Hoffman's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hoffman is fighting to maintain full guard but Nokanedov has managed to sneak the leg through.

Hoffman looks like he's trying to stand up.
Well, if Nokanedov is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Nokanedov seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Nokanedov wants to control but Hoffman is keeping him busy.
Nokanedov throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Nokanedov is trying to control the action in half guard but Hoffman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Nokanedov is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nokanedov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hoffman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Khabib Nokanedov dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Hoffman tries to keep at a distance but Nokanedov has taken the fight into the clinch.

Nokanedov has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hoffman clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Hoffman is really stuck here.
Hoffman finds himself mounted whilst avoiding strikes.
