The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Brodski misses with a short punch on the inside.
Heart swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Heart tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Brodski lands with a short punch from the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Brodski - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Brodski has Heart pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Heart manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Brodski breaks from the clinch.
Heart fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Brodski has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Heart stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Heart wants it to stay on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Heart is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Brodski asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Brodski cracks Heart with a big right hand but Heart just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The cut above Larry Heart's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Brodski takes a little break here. Heart wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
