The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shikhar defends it nicely.
Boi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Shikhar swivels and escapes.
No luck for Boi with that takedown attempt.

Boi fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Boi walks forward, straight into a front kick from Shikhar.
Shikhar connects with a leg kick. Boi looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Shikhar thows a body kick. Boi tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Boi drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Shikhar tries to buck Boi off but Boi is having none of it.

Shikhar is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Shikhar is looking for a sweep.

Boi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shikhar can do anything to dispel that myth.

Boi is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Shikhar is forced to tap! Great finish!
