The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munyan shoots in but Cleveland avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Munyan just misses with a punch to the body.
Munyan falls off balance throwing a combination

and Cleveland moves into the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Cleveland.
Munyan is working for takedown but Cleveland is calmly controlling the position for now.
Cleveland is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Cleveland tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Munyan is trying to pull guard but Cleveland turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Cleveland's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Munyan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cleveland is fending him off so far but Munyan persists. Nope, Cleveland circles away and we're back to standing.

and Cleveland holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Cleveland tries to clinch up but Munyan circles away and keeps his distance.
Munyan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cleveland sprawls well. Cleveland wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Munyan gets slowly back to his feet.
Munyan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Munyan wants it to stay on the feet.
Munyan dives in for a single leg takedown but Cleveland sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Cleveland breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Munyan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Munyan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Cleveland pushes Munyan away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Munyan gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Munyan is trying to get an arm triangle but Cleveland is defending well.
Cleveland tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Munyan has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Cleveland is defending well but eventually Munyan manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Cleveland has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
