Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shank Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Shadow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stevens comes to the cage accompanied by NECRO- "DIE!". The crowd seem to be enjoying Shadow's choice of entrance music: Scandal / Shunkan Sentimental. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens throws a leg kick but Shadow sees it coming and moves out of range.
Stevens misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Shadow.
Stevens dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Shadow. That did some damage!
Good work by Shadow as he checks the leg kick.
Shadow paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Stevens walks into a straight right hand from Shadow.
Shadow connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Stevens throws a body shot but no joy.
Stevens misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Shadow counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Stevens motions for Shadow to come forward. Stevens throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Shank Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shadow keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stevens misses the shot to the body.
Shadow looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Shadow moves out of range as Stevens throws a body kick.
Stevens takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Stevens throws a series of punches but Shadow moves out of range.
Stevens swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shadow lands a nice shot to the body.
Stevens misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Stevens throws a body kick that misses.
Shadow scores with a jab to the body.
Stevens takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Stevens looks to score with a jab to the body but Shadow is just out of range.
Shadow checks a leg kick.
Shadow lands a nice shot to the body.
Stevens wants to clinch up but Shadow keeps it at a distance.
Stevens takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Shadow connects with a right hand. Stevens shakes it off.

Stevens is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Shadow bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Stevens's head.
Oh Stevens is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big left from Stevens misses.
Shadow connects with a looping right hand.
Stevens tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Stevens rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Shadow to counter with a crisp jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Shadow darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Shadow connects with a body shot.
Shadow cracks Stevens with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Shadow jabs at Stevens's body.
Shadow moves out of range of the strikes.
Stevens seems to have got his legs back now.
Stevens is looking to clinch but Shadow is avoiding it.
Shadow is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Stevens had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Shadow cracks Stevens with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Stevens looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Shadow finish him?
A shot to the liver by Shadow. Beautiful body shot.
Stevens is looking to wear down Shadow with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Shadow throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Stevens on the side of the head.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Shadow knocks Stevens out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
