Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quin Chang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Dos Santos!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chang misses with a straight right.
Dos Santos moves out of range as Chang strikes.
Chang drops his hands momentarily and Dos Santos takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Dos Santos throws a jab when Chang was well out of range.
Chang takes a swing at Dos Santos's ribcage but misses.
Dos Santos bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dos Santos takes a jab right on the kisser.
Dos Santos takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Chang moves into the clinch.

Dos Santos uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chang.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Chang, as that shot connected.

Dos Santos looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Chang misses with a lunging right hand
and Dos Santos counters with a right hand to the body.
Dos Santos ducks under a wild hook from Chang.

Chang lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dos Santos at a distance.
Dos Santos throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dos Santos throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Chang throws a right and a left that both miss.
Quin Chang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chang lands a jab-cross combination.
Dos Santos moves away from the strike by Chang.
Chang swings widly with a right hand
and Dos Santos cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dos Santos's corner calls for a 1-2. Dos Santos obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Chang moves into the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chang lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Dos Santos backwards.

Chang escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dos Santos throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Chang counters with a one-two to the body.
Dos Santos showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Chang.
Dos Santos throws a hook but Chang avoids it easily.

Chang gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Dos Santos fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Chang is leaning against Dos Santos and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Dos Santos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Chang walks away with a smile on his face. Dos Santos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Chang tests Dos Santos's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Donk. Chang catches Dos Santos right on the button with a cross.

Chang scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Chang throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chang looks to throw the jab but Dos Santos is out of range.
Chang clobbers Dos Santos with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Chang scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Chang uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dos Santos.
Chang lands a nice shot that snaps Dos Santos's head back.
Dos Santos takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Chang connects with a single shot there.
Chang is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Dos Santos walks into a straight right hand from Chang.
Chang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dos Santos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Chang just misses with a punch to the body.

Chang is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Dos Santos looks winded!
Chang throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dos Santos.

Chang rushes Dos Santos and presses him up against the cage.

Chang breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chang misses with a looping right.
Dos Santos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chang moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dos Santos bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dos Santos ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Chang takes the fight into the clinch.
Chang lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Chang manages to break the clinch.

Chang has Dos Santos up against the cage in a clinch.

Chang breaks the clinch.
A decent looking cross lands there for Chang.
A shot to the liver by Chang. Beautiful body shot.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dos Santos jumps guard but Chang stands there with Dos Santos around his waist. Dos Santos gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Quin Chang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thiago Dos Santos.

Chang manages to break the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Chang closes the distance and clinches.
A short body shot lands from Chang as the two fighters clinch.

Chang breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Chang dips to his left and cracks Dos Santos with an uppercut!
Chang connects with a nice looking jab.
Chang smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Chang moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Dos Santos takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.


Dos Santos is rocked!
Chang changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A jab lands there for Chang.
Dos Santos takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dos Santos is still on wobbly legs! Can Chang finish him?
Dos Santos looks up at the clock. Bad move! Chang lands a right hand from hell, dropping Dos Santos. Chang pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Quin Chang!
A very excited looking Quin Chang made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
