Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Victor Stoic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Victor Stoic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Do!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoic closes the distance and clinches up with Do, looking for a takedown. Stoic pushes Do against the cage but Do circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stoic fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Stoic shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Stoic wants to free his trapped foot but Do is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Do keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Stoic trying to control from half guard but Do is working away.
Do has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Krusher Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Stoic thows a huge punch but Do dodges it nicely.
Do has his hands clasped together around Stoic's back. He's all about the action.
Do blocking the ground and pound attempt from Stoic.
Stoic wants to advance to full mount but Do doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stoic won't allow Do to sweep him here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stoic is in close to Do's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Stoic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Do swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Do wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Stoic trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Do can do anything to dispel that myth.
Stoic throws a big right hand that misses.
Stoic wants to pass the guard but Do is keeping the position.
Stoic preventing the sweep.
Stoic looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Do is looking to stand up but Stoic isn't so interested in that idea.
Stoic passes into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Do avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Stoic.
Stoic sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Do defending well though.
Do looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Do regains full guard. Nicely done.
Do avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stoic throws a big right hand that misses.
Stoic stops Do from standing up.
Do can't keep his opponent in guard - Stoic advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Do is looking to control Stoic's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Do avoid being mounted?
Stoic throwing shots but Do is blocking nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Do desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Stoic lands strikes from half guard.
Stoic not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Do is trying to get back to full guard.
Stoic landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Do slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Stoic chips away with some ground and pound.
Stoic pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Do is keeping the position for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stoic passes Do's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Nice strikes from Stoic there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stoic prevents Do from standing back up.
Stoic is looking to advance position but Do won't allow it.
Stoic lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Stoic throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stoic trying to mount his opponent but Do defends it.
Stoic missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Victor Stoic dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Do throws a chopping leg kick but Stoic manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Stoic takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.


It looks like Victor Stoic has been cut.
Victor Stoic is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Stoic avoids a kick to the body.
Stoic is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Do just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Stoic has gone limp and this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sergei Do!
