Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Granlund ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Granlund has closed the distance and engaged Leo in a clinch.
Leo tries a body shot but Granlund blocks it.
Granlund presses Leo against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Leo's coach down at Warrior MMA and Fitness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Leo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Leo tries for a takedown but Granlund manages to get underhooks.

Leo struggles to land a body shot inside as Granlund controls his hands.

I was talking to Granlund's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
A left hand lands to the body for Granlund.

Granlund is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Leo is keeping busy.

Granlund gets underhooks to prevent Leo's takedown attempt.

Granlund is pushing Leo up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Granlund is pressed up against the cage. Leo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Granlund down to the mat. Granlund avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Petri Granlund has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Leo.

Granlund stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Granlund feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Leo sprawling to the canvas! Leo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Granlund finish him?!
Leo is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Granlund fakes the body blow, causing Leo to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Leo goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Petri Granlund!
Petri Granlund seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Antonio Leo was interviewed post fight and said 'My training is always sharpening me up. I'll come back stronger and hungrier than ever.'.
