Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Paul Luvi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mister Spock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luvi comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica- Creeping Death. Spock comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rolling Stones- 2,000 Light Years From Home kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spock misses with a wild body shot.
Luvi connects with an inside leg kick.
Luvi misses with a head kick.
Luvi works the jab nicely.
Spock ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Spock throws a looping overhand right but Luvi ducks down to avoid it.
Spock lands a head kick. Luvi smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
The fight stays on the outside here - Luvi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Spock sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Luvi moves to clinch but Spock breaks away
and Spock counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Spock looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Luvi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Luvi's jab looks to have found its range, popping Spock under the eye.
A solid body kick from Luvi.
Spock throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Luvi takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Luvi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Spock was well out of range. Poor timing from Luvi.

Spock tries to bum rush Luvi with a series of wild strikes but Luvi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Luvi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Spock blocks a head kick by Luvi.
Luvi fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Luvi shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Spock throws a leg kick which misses Luvi's front leg but catches the back leg as Luvi tries to avoid it.
Luvi tries to clinch but Spock is having none of it.
Luvi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Luvi throws out a loose jab but Spock uses good head movement to avoid it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Luvi.
Luvi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Spock. That did some damage!
Luvi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Spock takes one to the side of the head.
Spock tries to move into range but Luvi moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Luvi connects with a nice looking jab.

Spock wants to land a leg kick but Luvi is out of range.

Luvi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Spock, pushing him back against the cage.
Spock seems to have recovered his senses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Spock is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Spock takes a swing at Luvi's ribcage but misses.
Luvi throws a nice looking combination but Spock bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Luvi looks to land a left hand but Spock moved out of range nicely.
Spock has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Luvi throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Spock's head.
Luvi looks to clinch
and Spock counters with a nice uppercut.
Spock misses with a head kick.
Spock takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Spock takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Spock looks up at the clock. Bad move! Luvi lands a right hand from hell, dropping Spock. Luvi pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
