The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wojciechowski connects with a body shot.
Wojciechowski misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Alves.
Wojciechowski just misses with a punch to the body.
Wojciechowski misses with an uppercut.
Good exchange - Wojciechowski coming out on top.
Alves shoots for a takedown but Wojciechowski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Wojciechowski misses with a hook.
Wojciechowski throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Wojciechowski fails to land with a series of punches.
Alves shoots in for a takedown but Wojciechowski shows good takedown defense.
Alves throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Wojciechowski misses with a low kick.
Alves ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Alves shoots in looking for a takedown. Wojciechowski tries to sprawl out of it but Alves keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wojciechowski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arthas Alves. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wojciechowski wants to slow Alves down by chopping away at his legs.
Alves shoots for a takedown but Wojciechowski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Alves misses with a few strikes there.
Alves walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Arthas Alves has been cut.
Alves throws a body punch but Wojciechowski moves out of range.

Alves shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wojciechowski but Wojciechowski pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Alves takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Alves takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Alves takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Alves is rocked!
Alves glances at the clock... BAM! Wojciechowski nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Alves crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Alves is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
