Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Donny Donowitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jie Liu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Donowitz comes to the cage accompanied by Mama Said Knock You Out. Liu has chosen The Cinematic Orchestra ft. Roots Manuva - All Things To All Men as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donowitz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Liu lands a nice leg kick that just misses Donowitz's sensitive parts.
Liu misses with a head kick.
Liu will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Donowitz tries to clinch up
and Liu counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Liu pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Donowitz is keeping the position for now.
Donowitz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Liu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Liu throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Donowitz works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Liu won't allow Donowitz to get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Donowitz has momentary wrist control but Liu slips an elbow through the middle.
Donowitz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Liu manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Donowitz is stalling in the full guard.
Liu has his feet on Donowitz's thighs here. He's pushed Donowitz off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Donowitz screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
