Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lacy Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raphaello Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to clinch but Schmidt is having none of it.

Schmidt tries to keep at a distance but Silva has taken the fight into the clinch.

Schmidt throwing strikes from guard but Silva blocks nicely.
Schmidt is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Schmidt throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Silva works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Schmidt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Silva manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Silva takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
