Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Weidman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernesto El Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying El Angel's choice of entrance music: Hasta Siempre Comandante. Anderson Weidman has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
El Angel pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Weidman is fighting off a takedown attempt but El Angel is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Weidman to the mat. Weidman regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ernesto El Angel hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Well El Angel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
