Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tor Hammeren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jerome Reilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tor Hammeren!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammeren fails with a takedown attempt.
Hammeren tries for a takedown but Reilly sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Reilly closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Reilly lands in his opponent's guard.
Reilly really is a fat lump.

Reilly stands up and waves to Hammeren to follow him.

Hammeren instigates a clinch.
Reilly keeps control of Hammeren as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Reilly is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hammeren is defending well for now.
Reilly looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Hammeren prevents a body shot from Reilly.

A frustrated look appears on Hammeren's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Reilly's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Hammeren pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Reilly tries to keep at a distance but Hammeren has taken the fight into the clinch.

Hammeren throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Reilly.

A close round but Tor Hammeren will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Hammeren has Reilly up against the cage in a clinch.
Hammeren goes for a takedown attempt but Reilly pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Reilly counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hammeren won't be happy with that.

Reilly swings around for an armbar but Hammeren sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Reilly's guard.

Reilly has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hammeren can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Reilly utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Reilly looking to control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tor Hammeren hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Hammeren digs a good body shot into Reilly's ribs.
Hammeren looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Reilly is fending him off so far but Hammeren persists. Nope, Reilly circles away and we're back to standing.

Hammeren changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reilly tries to avoid it but Hammeren manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reilly to the ground. Reilly escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hammeren tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Reilly swivels and escapes.
Hammeren shoots in looking for a takedown but Reilly manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hammeren's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Reilly feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close second round but I would say that Jerome Reilly will probably get the nod.

Hammeren has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Reilly is working away from the top position though.

Reilly seems to be working for a kimura but Hammeren defends the submission attempt.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jerome Reilly.
I think Reilly has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
