Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Kluivert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Kluivert has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Brad Adams's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Brad Adams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Kluivert!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kluivert tries to avoid it but Adams manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kluivert to the ground. Kluivert escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Adams has a takedown stuffed.

Kluivert rushes Adams and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kluivert landing knees to the body.

Kluivert gets control of Adams's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kluivert will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Adams decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kluivert, up you get!

Kluivert has closed the distance and engaged Adams in a clinch.
Kluivert blocks a body shot from Adams.
Adams is trying to maintain a safe position but Kluivert gets an underhook and turns Adams into the cage.

Kluivert breaks the clinch.

Kluivert darts in and clinches Adams up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kluivert pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Kluivert scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adams tries to improve position but can't.

Adams wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Adams is looking for a sweep.

Kluivert stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Kluivert shoots in and bounces Adams off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Kluivert stops Adams from standing up.

Adams is working an open guard so Kluivert takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Kluivert slips a straight right by Adams.

Adams tries for a takedown but Kluivert sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brad Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Adams is breathing heavily.
Kluivert lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.


It looks like Brad Adams has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kluivert fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Adams, pushing him back against the cage.
Kluivert lands a good knee to the midsection. Adams won't want to take too many of those.
Adams is trying to push Kluivert away but Kluivert has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Adams wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Kluivert gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Kluivert is looking to work some ground and pound but Adams has wrist control.
Adams is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kluivert is controlling him.
Kluivert's corner is telling him to maintain position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kluivert stands up from Adams's guard - Kluivert perhaps looking for a knockout.

Kluivert shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Adams manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Kluivert slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
It looks like Kluivert might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Adams is working an open guard so Kluivert takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Adams tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kluivert sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Adams somewhat.
Kluivert lands with a kick to the temple. Adams shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kluivert closes the distance and clinches.

Kluivert breaks the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Adams tries to keep at a distance but Kluivert has taken the fight into the clinch.
Adams goes for a takedown attempt but Kluivert pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank Kluivert dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Brad Adams's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Kluivert chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Adams dives in and grabs Kluivert's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kluivert pushes down on Adams's head and hops out.
Kluivert scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Kluivert gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Kluivert's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Kluivert scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kluivert decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Some wild striking there from Adams.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Kluivert. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kluivert rushes Adams and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Kluivert lands a knee to the body.
Kluivert is trying to stall.
Adams wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Kluivert lands with a short shot to the head.
Nice body punch from Kluivert.
The referee is keeping an eye on Kluivert - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Kluivert lands a nice knee to the body.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kluivert takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Kluivert fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Adams sprawls well initially but Kluivert persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Frank Kluivert has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Adams takes a kick to the side of the head.
Adams shoots in for a takedown but Kluivert shows good takedown defense.

Kluivert clinches.

Kluivert pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Kluivert pushes Adams up against the cage in a clinch.
Kluivert has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Kluivert prevents a body shot from Adams.

Kluivert breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Frank Kluivert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kluivert throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Adams stumbling backwards into the cage! Adams bounces back off the cage towards Kluivert, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Kluivert lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Kluivert celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Frank Kluivert!
