The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beaman moves into range and clinches up with davidson.
davidson tries a body shot but Beaman blocks it.
davidson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Beaman tries to pull guard but davidson won't allow it.

Beaman pulls guard.
Beaman pulls davidson in close to prevent any damage.
Beaman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Beaman is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Beaman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

davidson pushes Beaman off but Beaman dives into side control.
Beaman works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
davidson is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beaman lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Beaman has hold of davidson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. davidson seems comfortable defending it but Beaman has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! davidson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! davidson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Beaman couldn't care less - he's delighted!
