Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dack Fayden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adelard Desormeaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Desormeaux has chosen Ça va venir découragez-vous pas as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

With a record of 20 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adelard Desormeaux!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fayden uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Desormeaux.
Fayden digs a good body shot into Desormeaux's ribs.
Desormeaux scores with a leg kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Fayden or perhaps it was just good defense by Desormeaux, which made it look bad.
Desormeaux misses with an uppercut

and Fayden holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Desormeaux tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Desormeaux has a couple of punches blocked by Fayden.
Fayden blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Desormeaux is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Desormeaux working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Desormeaux swings wildly with an uppercut but Fayden uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fayden is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Desormeaux to keep the fight standing.

Fayden changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Desormeaux fights it off and pushes away nicely.

It looks like Dack Fayden has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Desormeaux not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Desormeaux closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Fayden's jab looks to have found its range, popping Desormeaux under the eye.
Desormeaux throws a good cross that connects.
Desormeaux misses with a series of wild punches.
Desormeaux has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fayden's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Desormeaux connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fayden scrambles back to his feet.

Desormeaux throws a left that rocks Fayden and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Desormeaux dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Fayden regain composure!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Fayden's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Oh Fayden is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fayden tries to bench press Desormeaux off him but Desormeaux keeps the position.
Fayden seems to have got his legs back now.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Desormeaux in particular looking to stall.

Desormeaux fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Fayden on the side of the head.

Desormeaux bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Fayden! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Jeez, Dack Fayden's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dack Fayden's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
