Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between K The Rad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayde West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rad comes into the arena with 2pac - Don't Get It Twisted blaring out of the sound system. West has chosen Styles Of Beyound-Nine Thou as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, K The Rad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wayde West!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rad tries a low kick but West avoids it.
Rad slips a jab and a cross from West.
Rad thows a leg kick but West checks it
and West counters with a good low kick that Rad was not able to check.
Rad goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Rad feints and then cracks West's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow West down.
Rad throws a leg kick that is checked
and West counters with a good, hard body kick but Rad shrugs it off.
West avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and West counters with a straight right hand.
K The Rad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rad scores with a leg kick.
Rad will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
West has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rad finds it's way round the side to connect with West's head.

West ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
West throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Rad counters with a nice uppercut.
Rad throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rad will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Rad fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but West is out of range.
West looks to land a right hand but Rad moved out of range.
Rad ducks down and throws a hook to the body but West moves away.
Rad throws a looping overhand right but West ducks down to avoid it.
Rad lands a nice shot that snaps West's head back.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rad's corner calls for a 1-2. Rad obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
West connects with a jab.

It looks like K The Rad has been cut.
Rad lands a jab to the nose.
West uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rad.
West on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rad throws an uppercut from half a mile away. West sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and West counters with a nice right hand that sends Rad toppling to the canvas! Rad scrambles and gets back to his feet - can West finish him?!

Rad is rocked!
West darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Rad's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles West before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
