These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lancaster blocks a head kick by Evans.
Lancaster tries for a takedown but Evans circles away easily
and Evans counters with a one-two to the body.

Evans misses with a two punch combination.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Evans trying to control the position but instead, Lancaster has worked for underhooks and has pushed Evans into the cage.
Lancaster is trying to push Evans away but Evans has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Lancaster really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Evans with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Evans drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lancaster gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Lancaster is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Evans gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

and Evans counters with a flying knee that drops Lancaster! Evans dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
