PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boston Dallas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seymour Ellenbogen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dallas might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bo-lieve. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seymour Ellenbogen!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellenbogen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Dallas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ellenbogen pinned against the cage. Ellenbogen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Dallas takes the fight into the clinch.
Dallas is working for takedown but Ellenbogen is calmly controlling the position for now.
Dallas tries for a takedown but Ellenbogen manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boston Dallas. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ellenbogen breaks from the clinch.

Ellenbogen closes the distance and pushes Dallas back into the cage.
Dallas drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ellenbogen pulls his leg out and moves away.

Ellenbogen closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dallas's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Dallas controls Ellenbogen momentarily but Ellenbogen frees himself.
Ellenbogen is stalling in the full guard.

Ellenbogen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ellenbogen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Ellenbogen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Dallas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ellenbogen on the ground.
Dallas wants to stand up but Ellenbogen is controlling him.
