Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abedisi Mahamud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dias comes to the cage accompanied by Hawthorne Heights - Light Sleeper. Mahamud has chosen Darkest corner - Drummin from darknessg as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mahamud throws an off balance right hand
and Dias counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Mahamud swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A good leg kick by Dias.
Mahamud dodges the punch combination from Dias.
Dias ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mahamud moves away.
We've been hearing reports that Dias has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Abedisi Mahamud is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Dias throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dias shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mahamud defends it nicely.
Mahamud ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dias moves away.

Dias throws a series of punches but Mahamud avoids them all with ease.
Dias takes a swing at Mahamud's ribcage but misses.
Mahamud fails to land with a series of punches.
Dias throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Mahamud lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Dias throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mahamud throws a body shot but no joy.
Mahamud moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Mahamud has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mahamud connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Dias is rocked!
Dias throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Oh Dias is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dias swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mahamud counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Dias is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
BOOM! Mahamud lands a beautiful left hook that drops Dias. Dias tries to recover but Mahamud is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Dias lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
