The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meikalainen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hanttonen misses with a body kick.
Hanttonen walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Meikalainen checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Hanttonen throws a sloppy head kick and Meikalainen moves out of range easily.
A jab from Meikalainen finds it's way through Hanttonen's defenses.

It looks like Marko Hanttonen has been cut.
Meikalainen throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Hanttonen defending well as Meikalainen loads up on a big left hand.
Meikalainen scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Meikalainen moves out of range of the strikes.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Meikalainen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hanttonen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hanttonen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hanttonen lands a nice looking kick to the body. Meikalainen takes a step back to recover.
Meikalainen misses with a low kick.
Meikalainen's corner calls for a 1-2. Meikalainen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

and Hanttonen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Hanttonen lands a right hand that snaps the head of Meikalainen backwards.
Hanttonen putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Meikalainen in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Hanttonen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hanttonen tries to close the distance and clinch but Meikalainen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hanttonen scores with a jab. Meikalainen acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

It looks like Matti Meikalainen has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hanttonen stuns Meikalainen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Meikalainen is breathing heavily.
Hanttonen walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Hanttonen looks to score with a jab to the body but Meikalainen is just out of range.
Hanttonen lands with a good body shot.
Hanttonen lands with an overhand left.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Look low, kick high! Hanttonen uses the oldest trick in the book to send Meikalainen tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Hanttonen is absolutely delighted - when Meikalainen wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
