Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Barry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barry moves into the clinch.
Barry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Orton jumps guard.
Orton looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Orton looking to control but Barry passes into half guard.
Orton is looking to control Barry's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Orton avoid being mounted?
Orton blocking the ground and pound attempt from Barry.
Barry seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Barry trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Orton is looking to control Barry's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Orton avoid being mounted?
Orton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

John Orton has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Orton scores with a jab to the body.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Orton has eaten all the pies!

Orton scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Orton wants to pass to mount but Barry is defending the position.
Barry gets full guard.

Barry escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Orton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Barry is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Orton is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Let's hope that Orton has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Orton wanted to stand there but Barry had control of the position.

Barry looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Orton passes into half guard.
Barry wants to get back to full guard.
Barry is working hard here to advance position.
Barry is breathing heavily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Orton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Barry has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Orton to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Barry is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Orton pulls down on the head and he's put Barry to sleep! This one is all over!
