The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Logan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Neo tries to kick Logan off but Logan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Neo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Logan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Neo throws a strike aimed at the side of Logan's head but Logan avoids it well.
Neo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Logan keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A lull in the action here as Neo stalls from top position.
Neo wants to stand but Logan has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.

Logan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Neo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Logan to the ground. Neo is now in Logan's guard.

Neo throws a strike but Logan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Neo. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Neo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Logan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Logan on his heels. He'll look to pass Logan's guard now, I'm sure.

Neo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Logan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Logan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Logan!
Neo is looking to get back to his feet here but Logan is keeping cool and he's managed to take Neo's back.
Neo looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Akio Neo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Neo gets a takedown into half guard.
Neo throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Logan to regain full guard.
Logan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Logan lands a decent punch to the body there.
Logan controls Neo momentarily but Neo frees himself.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Neo fails to land with a series of punches.

Logan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Logan pulls Neo in to control the position.
Neo throws a strike but Logan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Akio Neo.

Logan gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Neo to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Neo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Logan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Neo has Logan in his guard.

Logan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Logan prevents Neo from getting back to his feet.
Logan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Logan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Neo is proving hard to escape from.

Neo has his foot on Logan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Logan works his way back into a safe position though.
Neo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Neo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Logan has picked Neo up and slammed him! Neo can't keep hold of the triangle and Logan manages to pass to side control!

Well Neo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
