Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Faulkner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stuart Bloom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bloom gets a takedown into half guard.
Bloom throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bloom is looking to take a break and control but Faulkner is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bloom thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Faulkner is looking to control Bloom's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Faulkner avoid being mounted?
Bloom is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Faulkner is looking for a sweep. Bloom is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Faulkner is trying is best to control the position here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bloom closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Faulkner quickly recovers to half guard.
Faulkner keeping hold of Bloom's head, controlling as best he can.
Bloom uses his free foot to push down on Faulkner's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Faulkner.
Bloom takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Bloom cracks Faulkner with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
