Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Osaka Niten Ichi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solomon Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ichi misses with a body shot.

Ichi shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Frost takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ichi. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Frost's coach down at The Post Office was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Frost's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Ichi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Frost can pounce on him.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Ichi might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Ichi looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
