Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Fistface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ebenezer Scrooge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scrooge moves out of range as Fistface strikes.
Scrooge misses with a hook.
A punch combination from Fistface misses.
A big right from Scrooge misses.
Scrooge avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fistface throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Scrooge.
Scrooge takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Matt Fistface seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Ebenezer Scrooge has been cut.

Fistface has closed the distance and engaged Scrooge in a clinch.
Scrooge wants to break free but Fistface has control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fistface's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Scrooge misses with a two punch combination.

Fistface throws a left that rocks Scrooge and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Fistface dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Scrooge regain composure!

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Scrooge is trying to improve his position.
Scrooge wants to control but Fistface postures up.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Fistface sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Scrooge is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ebenezer Scrooge was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
