Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Morgan Vinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augustus NP (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). NP has chosen Mr.Wonderful as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Augustus NP was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

NP scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

It looks like NP might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

NP thows a huge punch but Vinson dodges it nicely.
NP is just content to waste time from the top position. Vinson takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Augustus NP hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

NP shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if NP can do anything to dispel that myth.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vinson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for NP. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Augustus NP showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Vinson goes for a double leg but NP avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as NP continues to drive forward.

NP shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Vinson's guard.
NP throws an elbow that misses. Vinson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in NP's guard. Nice move by Vinson!

After the fight, Augustus NP was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
