The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson staying out of range there.
Dorrance throws a shot from downtown. Watson moves away and avoids it.
Dorrance looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dorrance ducks under a wild hook from Watson.

Watson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dorrance to the mat! Dorrance manages to get full guard.
Dorrance on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dorrance tries to get out of the position.
Watson passes Dorrance's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Dorrance knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Watson on the ground.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Watson in particular looking to stall.
Watson is trying to control. Dorrance wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Watson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dorrance defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
