PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Norber Du Flan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Ronny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Ronny told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Du Flan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ronny misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ronny changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Du Flan tries to avoid it but Ronny manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Du Flan to the ground. Du Flan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Du Flan is nestled in close to Ronny, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Du Flan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ronny has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ronny and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Du Flan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ronny for as long as he can get away with.

Du Flan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Du Flan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
