A fine choice. Koski has chosen Catatonic Overload - Heavyweight as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pope misses with a few strikes there.
Koski swings for the body but Pope moves out of range.
Koski just misses with a punch to the body.
Pope lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Pope doesn't manage to clinch there - Koski circles away.
Pope throws an overhand right that lands on Koski's shoulder, as Koski tries to avoid the shot.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Koski.
Pope throws a leg kick which misses Koski's front leg but catches the back leg as Koski tries to avoid it.

Koski thuds his right hand into Pope's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Trent Pope seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pope throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Koski is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Pope rather than just go for the knockout.
Koski pushes Pope away with a front kick.

A slow jab from Pope misses its intended target.
Pope cracks Koski with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Pope fails in his attempt to clinch.
Pope ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Koski has closed the distance and engaged Pope in a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Koski creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Koski lands a right hand.
Pope gets through Koski's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Koski misses with a punch to the body.
Pope prevents a body shot from Koski.
Koski lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Pope backwards.
Koski doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Pope creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Koski's defenses.
It looks like Tomi Koski has been cut.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Koski.
Pope lands a body punch in the clinch.
Koski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pope scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Koski looks for the body kick but Pope saw that one coming.
Pope does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Koski looks to score with a jab to the body but Pope is just out of range.

Pope moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Pope thows a left - swing and a miss!
Koski takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Koski looks winded!
Koski throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Jab, jab by Pope - just one landing.
Koski's coach down at Araba Fenice was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Koski's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Koski throws out a loose jab but Pope uses good head movement to avoid it.
Koski misses with a body shot.
Pope tries to close the distance and clinch but Koski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Pope lands a big head kick that sends Koski tumbling to the mat! Pope takes a step backwards and waves Koski back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Koski is rocked!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pope.
Koski is still on wobbly legs! Can Pope finish him?
Pope lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Pope feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Koski collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

Our winner, Trent Pope, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
