Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Dietrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Leduc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leduc is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lose yourself. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leduc stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Leduc throws an off balance right hand
and Leduc takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dietrich tries to score with a low kick but Leduc moves his leg out of the way.
Some wild striking there from Dietrich.
Leduc lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Dietrich uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Leduc.
Leduc swats away the attempt to clinch by Dietrich.

Dietrich walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dietrich dives in for a single leg takedown but Leduc sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Leduc's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dietrich under the eye.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Leduc crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Dietrich - the referee stops the clock and Leduc gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Dietrich. Leduc manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Leduc lands a nice shot that snaps Dietrich's head back.

Leduc ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dietrich moves away.
Dietrich lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Leduc displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dietrich throws out the jab.
Leduc lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dietrich tries for a takedown but Leduc manages to get underhooks.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Leduc fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dietrich looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

A big shot lands for Leduc! That's hurt Dietrich! Will he recover? Leduc fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
