Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mejia moves forwards but Dog connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Dog scores with a one two! Mejia had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Dog throws a left and a right that both miss

and Mejia moves into the clinch.
Dog lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mejia backwards.

Mejia pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Mejia bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dog's guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mejia in particular looking to stall.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

You can see the frustration on Mejia's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Dog really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mejia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dog must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
