Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krammer Hussein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sarkis Terteryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terteryan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Röyksopp - The Fear kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sarkis Terteryan has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Krammer Hussein's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 36 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Krammer Hussein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sarkis Terteryan!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hussein shoots in for a double leg but Terteryan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hussein fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Terteryan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Terteryan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hussein manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Terteryan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Hussein has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Terteryan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Terteryan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hussein's head.
Terteryan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Terteryan trying to control the position from guard on top but Hussein is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hussein escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Terteryan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hussein is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Terteryan controlling from the top position.
Terteryan wants to control from the top but Hussein keeps moving.
Terteryan stays in close to Hussein's body and controls the position.
Hussein working a defensive guard here.

Hussein throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Terteryan lands a couple of digs.

Terteryan gets to his feet - Hussein follows without any prompting.

Terteryan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hussein's guard.
Terteryan wants to control from the top but Hussein keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hussein looking for a sweep. Not yet Hussein, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Terteryan postures up.
Hussein has Terteryan pulled in close to control his posture.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hussein will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krammer Hussein. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck for Hussein with that takedown attempt.

Terteryan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hussein, pushing him back against the cage.

Terteryan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hussein tries to close the distance and clinch but Terteryan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hussein tries to clinch but Terteryan is having none of it.
Terteryan misses with a head kick.

Hussein gets caught napping as Terteryan dives in and scores a takedown. Hussein manages to retain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Terteryan is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hussein working a defensive guard here.
Hussein has control of Terteryan's left arm, preventing Terteryan from doing any damage.
Terteryan throws a big elbow that misses.
Terteryan trying to control but Hussein is working from the bottom.
Terteryan postures up.
Hussein utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Krammer Hussein wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Terteryan throws a powerful right kick. Hussein tried to block low but the kick was high! Hussein was taken right off of his feet! Terteryan jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Sarkis Terteryan!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Sarkis Terteryan waved his t-shirt featuring Das Labor's logo in front of the cameras.
