Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jordon Buckner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Camden Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordon Buckner had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jordon Buckner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Camden Barnett!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barnett closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Buckner really is a fat lump.

Buckner pushes Barnett off and gets back to his feet.
Barnett fails with an attempt to clinch.

Buckner gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Buckner is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Barnett slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Barnett must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Buckner wants to stand up but Barnett is controlling him.
Buckner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Buckner is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Barnett dives into side control.

Buckner explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Barnett pushes Buckner up against the cage in a clinch.
Buckner blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Barnett pushes Buckner back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Barnett lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Buckner backwards.

Barnett stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Buckner swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Buckner pushes Barnett off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Barnett changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Buckner looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Barnett is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Buckner is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

You can see the frustration on Buckner's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Barnett is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Buckner to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Buckner shrugs it off.

Barnett lands a big shot there that rocks Buckner but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Barnett is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Buckner has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Buckner is in a horrible position here. Barnett smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barnett swats away the attempt to clinch by Buckner.
Barnett tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Buckner paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Barnett breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Buckner enables Barnett to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Buckner manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Barnett drops back looking for a leg! Buckner is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Buckner manages to kick Barnett off! Barnett jumps back into Buckner's guard.

Barnett takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Buckner scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Barnett manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Buckner on his heels. He'll look to pass Buckner's guard now, I'm sure.

Camden Barnett has got the better of the ground game so far.

Buckner is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Barnett is controlling him.

Buckner isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Barnett stacks Buckner on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Barnett!
Barnett is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Buckner is pushing Barnett's head away, looking to escape. Barnett manages to hold on to the position though.

Barnett advances nicely into full mount.
Barnett with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Buckner is trying desperately to improve position.
Buckner is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Barnett swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Buckner is now in Barnett's guard. A big mistake from Barnett there, giving up the dominant position!
Barnett wants to sweep but no luck.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Barnett can do anything to dispel that myth.

Camden Barnett is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Camden Barnett comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Barnett has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
