Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jamaal Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xiun Xiha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xiha has chosen Communist party as his entrance music. Xiun Xiha will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xiha with a lazy takedown attempt

and Russo counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Xiha is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Russo drops an elbow to the side of Xiha's head.
Xiha has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Russo is working away from the top position though.
Xiha slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Russo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Russo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Xiha controls Russo momentarily but Russo frees himself.
Xiha might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Russo haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Russo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Xiha is proving hard to escape from.

Xiha has his feet on Russo's thighs here. He's pushed Russo off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Russo screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
